First i would like to thank you all for visiting with me this past week. it's been brutal. i had an inner ear infection and was off balance all week long. i'd be walking and i would tip over and fall. not very funny...
On Tuesday I got the call that i had been dreading. my girlfriends husband, Tom passed away after a year long battle with cancer. And then my oldest daughter has been upset all week long...her friend was diagnosed with bone cancer. He's a freshman in college and he will not be returning to college. I would like to do a RAK for him but would like to get permission from his parents before i post any information. Needless to say i have not been in the mood to do anything. it's been a very long, and sad week.
After my last post, my computer died. the hardware crashed and i have not had a computer all week long. My husband took me to the apple store and bought me a new computer! He's the best! My kids just helped me set it up, and now all i need is to take lessons to learn how everything works.
Tomorrow is a day that i plan to spend doing some creative things for myself. Stay tuned!

Lorraine - I am so sorry that you had such a rough week! Seems there is so much suffering and sadness that comes and just falls on top of you - like the saying when it rains it pours. I will definitely keep your friend who lost her husband in my prayers as well as your daughters's friend who is battling cancer - and I truly hope you are feeling better!! Let us know if we can send cards to the friend who is battling cancer.

Lorraine, I am so sorry! I have not been by your blog a number of days and I am so sad to hear all you've been through. How is your infection? Hope it's getting better.
Sorry to hear about your friend's husband. That is so sad.
And that your dd's friend is also diagnosed with cancer is terrible. I wish they could find a cure for it already!
Now, as to a new computer, and an apple at that, I think that is good news.

I'm so sorry you have had such a rough week. When and if we can do RAK for him, please let me know. I lost my brother-in-law to multiple myaloma, but he survived many years after his diagnosis. Hold fast to the thought that we are all praying for this young man and his coming battles.
