another Zindorf case

I went into the dungeon to make a card today and I have to say that I just wasn't getting the inspiration from anything around me. I have been stalking Michelle Zindorfs blog and decided to attempt another one of her creations, Is it autumn yet. You just have to see her original card. It is magnificent. I really want to attend one of her classes and can't wait for her to come to the New York area. I will travel for this rock star.
One day I will be confident enough to make up one of these designs on my own. For now, I'm just happy to case the Brayer Queen!
Thanks for stopping in!

Man, You Rock

I have two cards to share with you today! Both are Zindorf inspired. Well, actually one is an out and out pure case! LOL!
My son, Stephen and I were in Michaels this week. He needed something for Halloween and we were shopping. He was looking at all the ghoul stuff and I was stalking the stamp isles. He found what he was looking for and found me drooling over a stamp set by Inkadinkado, Rock Star. He asked me if I was going to get the set since it was so cool. and I told him that I put myself on a budget and I wasn't buying anymore new stamps! He pointed out that the stamp set was only $9.99 and if I used my 50% off coupon I could do it. I said nope, not going to buy it. We head to the register and he has his fake arm to purchase, he puts that on the counter and the Rock Star stamp set. He asked me for my coupon and he bought the set for me! Isn't he a keeper? LOL!
Thanks Stephen!

The first card is a card that I made for my brother in law. His birthday is coming up. He plays the guitar so I thought that he would get a kick out of this. I used my brayer and inked up all earth elements colors, close to cocoa, more mustard, pumpkin pie and sponged a little too.

Then I see this card on Michele Zindorf's blog! I'm good at copying. I'm not really good at picking colors out on my own, but just tell me the colors and what to do and I can copy it, or at least try to copy it. Again, I didn't have all the colors she used so I improvised. And I am very happy with the outcome. This is so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!

Something totally new!

I must be living under a rock, because I had never heard of Michelle Zindorf. Well, I shouldn't say that, I've heard her name mentioned here and there on SCS. But I never knew what her work was all about. Well let me tell you that this woman is a rock star! If you have not visited her blog you definitely should. Her work is amazing, truly pieces of art! My daughter and I were browsing through her blog with our mouths open in amazement.
This is my attempt at trying to use her techniques! I didn't have all the colors that she used so I improvised. I also didn't have a big circle cutter so I didn't make mine into a circle. Click here to see Michelle's work of art!

Totally cased!!! in case you didn't know it! lol
