5000 visits Time for Blog Candy

Hi everyone,
well i see that my counter has hit over 5000 visits. I'm so excited about that, especially since that when i started blogging i didn't think that anyone was visiting me. This blog was more for me to express myself and "journal" my work! When I saw a comment on a card that i had made i would do a little dance! lol! So to thank you for letting me know that i am not talking to myself I am offering some May Arts Ribbon Blog Candy!
If you go to the bottom of this page you will see that i have 3 shares listed. The winner will pick the ribbon share that she wants...the gingham, velvet ric rac or the sheer polka dots! It'll be your choice. Just post a comment on this post telling me how you like to use ribbon. On Sunday, February 3rd, after the Giants win the Superbowl, i will announce the winner picked by random number site.
It's been a tough week for me as most of you know...hopefully this week i'll be back into my stamping zone and stamp away! Thank you all for your kind words.
Lorraine

well, I used to thing ribbon was only good for pony tails and frilly girls dresses but a peice of ribbon is like a ray of sunshine on just about anything. I like it to fill in spaces on cards that nothing else seems to fit.

Oh, I just love your comment about the Giants!! LOL I hope you do have a better week. Congrats on your 5000 hits.

I like to use ribbon on cards, of course, but also on packages!

I use ribbon all the time on cards both in strips and in bows. I sometimes even add a bit to the inside of a card. And being a dollmaker too, I use it on dolls constantly. I just love ribbon and any of these prizes would be wonderful.

I love ribbon on most of my cards,
even masculine ones when it fits the occasion. And the use of ribbon on layouts to hide seams and add to the overall picture and design.
Congrats on your 5000 hits. It is

Hi Lorraine!
Congratulations on 5000 visits!!!
And thank you for celebrating with ribbon!

It's just the end of Jan, and it's been a hard year already...I'm glad you have this outlet to share :)

I like to use ribbon to add just a little snippet of joy to my cards...like you do by wrapping the corners of your cards. It just takes a little to make a card happy :)
