Cockadoodledo

Have I told you lately that I have a rooster fetish? lol! I love Roosters! I'm sure I wouldn't love them so much if they were cockadoodledoing early in the morning in my backyard. When we were in Italy and stayed in Tuscany we rented a villa for a week. We would hear roosters doodling all day long. When I came home my fascination with roosters grew. When I saw this image on Rubber Stamp Ave, I knew that he needed to be in my collection. I've had him for a long time (see, I'm really using my stuff now!) The Italian Script stamp is a background stamp from Hero Arts...I don't know who made the cancelled Sienna Italia stamp...sorry! The dp is from Basic Grey, Cupcake, I think, and the cardstock is black, barely banana, riding hood red, and brocade blue. I colored him in with my copic markers. and then sponged, sponged, sponged.
Enjoy! Cockadoodledo, thanks for all you do!
Smiles :)

Ooh, he's gorgeous! I love roosters too...chickens of all kinds! I wish I could have them in my backyard but my husband would probably have me committed! Great coloring on this guy!

You have some great coloring and sponging techniques. I love the coloring detail that you put into your creations.

My parents have a farm and when we stay during the summer I don't mind the rooster the first morning or two, but after that enough is enough. LOL!!
