The Witch has left the graveyard

I tried the striped wipe technique over at SCS. It did not work for me the way I had planned, but all in all I do like the outcome of the bg paper on this card.
This was a real mish mosh design. I wasn't getting the effect I wanted on the paper. I did use glossy white paper, but maybe my baby wipes are too old. After all my baby is 15 years old!!! LOL
Anyway, I thought that it looked ok so I now had to stamp the bg with the images that I wanted. I inked up the Martha Stewart fence with my Black Brillance ink, and when I stamped the paper, nothing! I stamped the image on the junk white paper I bought yesterday and got a lovely image. OK, so now what? I get out the stazon ink pad, ink up the image, and again nothing. I was getting very frustrated! that's bad for me, because then I feel like throwing everything away and just giving up! But, I worked so hard on the back ground that I decided to give it one last ditch effort and pulled out my SU Basic Black ink pad (which I was going to throw away...another story) and that did the trick. Amazing. I added some flying bats, the moon and a tree from Gina K's Spooky Silhouettes, and then stamped the Martha Stewart Witch image off the paper so that we only got a glimpse of the tail end of her broom.
Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!
Smiles :)

Well, it may have taken a while, but you certainly got there in the end, this is fantastic. Get that Cricut out girl..........isn't it funny, I can hardly make a card without it now, it's my favourite thing of all time - until my next craze that is.........

This is a fantastic card..the colors blend so well!
Have fun on the cruise, your cards are fab, so quit your worrying...LOL...If I got a swap from you I would be totally happy! I hope you don't give up SU, though I hear you about the credit card...maybe just sell off what you don't want and you can keep going, I can't imagine not having SU...and I have only had 1 workshop in 6 months of my joining...I'm NOT a good salesperson. Have fun on the trip and relax....your items are FAB!!!
